Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

What did I do?

I have either pinched or pulled something in my back/shoulders. I am so sore this morning I can barely lift my arms. This morning I was having a panic attack that I was having a heart attack or something. I hope this doesn't last to long because I am so sore! THe kids are coughing now that we are better from the stomach thing. Hopefully they will be better soon. I am dying to go to church on Sunday at least.

We have all been sick!

The kids and I have had some sort of intestinal bug since Monday. Aidan was first, then Ainsley then me. Aidan is mostly better, Ainsley and I both have some lingering symptoms. So sick yesterday, B had to stay home from work to help us out. Today is better so far, but the day has barely begun. We will be eating sick food for a while around here I think.

All I can say is....

BENIGN!

However, this afternoon my little guy seems to have come down with an intestinal bug. I hope it is food poisoning from a birthday party yesterday at CEC and not that norovirus that I hear is going around.

No coedine for me!

After two days of feeling faint and nausous. I decided to stop taking my prescribed pain killers and just stick to Tylenol. That other stuff just makes me sick. I am starting to feel better. Today I have been up and around I actually got dress. I am wearing sweats which is close enough to pjs but dressed is dressed. So far no malignancy and I will know more for certain on Monday but everything looks good. Not sure if I am going to be able to make the party circuit my son has goin on the weekend, but Daddy is taking him to one at least. The other is for the son of one of my friends and he doesn't really know them so I don't think he would feel comfortable taking him to that one. If I am up to it though I will take him myself. Glad to be part of tha lad of the living again.

Surgery!

Tomorrow is the big day. I have no desire to do this, but now it is time. I am praying very hard that everything will be fine and that I will recover quickly. I also pray that the kids will behave themselves and not drive poor Brian crazy.

On a lighter note, B won a bet and the loser had to bring desert. They brought a kitty litter cake. I have to say that it looks pretty disgusting. I sure hope it tastes good.

Blog more in a few days as I will be a bit out of commission tomorrow and Wednesday.

Guests are coming!

My sis and her hubby are coming to do. I have been pretty on top of things this week so I just have a few more last minute houseworks chores to take care of before they arrive around dinner time tonight. Take out it is. I hope they have no delays as the weather is getting a bit icky. Hopefully I will take some pics this weekend and I will post on Monday.

Got the info on my surgery as well. I need to be at the hospital at 8:30 for surgery at 9:30. I should also be going home by the middle of the afternoon. I will be incommunicado for a little while at least. Hopefully recovery will be quick.

Giving up the old license

I finally went and got my new license. I was a little sad giving up the old one as I have had it forever. I should get the new one in 7-10 days. I am officially a Wisconsiner, Wisconsinite...whatever.

NO blog yet

I have yet to blog in the new year. Everything is going well so far I have just been busy taking care of stuff that usually goes on around here after the holidays. Putting away toys and decorations and the like. Next week is actually time for my thyroid surgery already. I went for my pre-op work today. I took the kids with me to the visit and they behaved very well. I wish Ainsley would behave so well at the grocery store. The nurses even watched them for a while so that I could chat with the doctor by myself. I thought that was really cool. I felt strange leaving the kids watching TV in the waiting area, but they were being looked after.

Tomorrow I am volunteering at LFR and the kids will play in the playroom while I stuff envelopes. I am really happy that they called and asked if I could help out. I had forgotten that I put my name on the volunteer list. THis evening I am going to finally get my new drivers license. I guess I have to finally accept that I live here and give up the old license.

Pretty boring blog this time. I am sorry nothing more eventful is going on. Pretty much just taking care of business as usual. My sister and her hubby are coming this weekend and it is going to be so cold for them. M just wasn't even sure what to do about the cold. I told her to layer and that she would survive. I have a feeling that she will be headed home a popsicle.
