Day 3 Epcot

I seem to have less pictures of this day for some reason.  Epcot is very interesting as it is divided into two areas, Future World and the International area.  We rode some of the rides in the first area then headed over to the other area for food.  We stopped at this amazing Italian place for pizza for the kids and ended up all eating there.  Our whole group of 13 as my In-laws met our whole group for lunch.  They are not early risers as a rule.  The Italian restaurant was amazing as all the staff was really from Italy.  Our waiter happened to be from Venice.  So cool!  One thing I loved about this whole trip was how many languages that I heard that I truly did not recognize.  It shows what a big world we have and what a small world I have made for myself.  We saw many characters this day as well, but the only one I could talk Ainsley into meeting was Belle.  She was so sweet!  In character the whole time, she asked Ainsley about all the books she was reading.  Also, she asked me to get into the picture as well.  We had such a good time until I agreed to ride the Mission: Space ride.  I should never have gotten on it!  It had tons of warnings about motion sickness and claustrophobia, but truthfully most of the rides do and I had not had any problems.  Needless to say, on that one you should heed the warnings.  You get enclosed in an overhead harness.  Then the instrument panel closes an you feel as if you are in a tiny box.  I should have asked to get out when the harness came down because it smelled as if someone had been ill previously in my seat.  The smell is what set me off.  The ride was rough.  You feel as if you are launched into space.  My hubby said this feeling is achieved by spinning you quickly, but because you are enclosed in a tiny box and looking at a tiny screen you do not feel the sensation of spinning.  I was praying that I would not be sick the whole time.  Thankfully, I was able to get off the ride on my own steam, but I had to sit for quite a while before moving again.  My Mom said I was white as a sheet and B went to get me a Sprite to settle my stomach.  Really, my head just felt rattled.  Never again and we did leave the park after that.  We were all pretty pooped so the kids were not to upset by leaving.  Tomorrow, to continue vacation week...Legoland!
