Water levels are very low. The dock that was once floating is quite a distance from the water. Blackened trees and ground came within a few miles of my SIL home. They evacuated this summer because there is only one road in and out from where they live and they were concerned about getting cut off. I would worry too. Where my parents live in Texas rain levels have come up to normal again. There was still a deficit for the year, but the last two months have seen normal rainfall levels. Central Texas is not doing as well.
Have a good weekend everyone. We are under a snow advisory today. The worst of the storm is to the east of us which is typical for this area, but roads were pretty messy this morning. I also have the kids signed up for Parents Night Out at the Y this Saturday night so it should be a fun evening for them and us as well. Take care all!
