Last Day of Summer Break Treat

First Day of School 2nd and 5th

I haven't been posting as I wanted lately.  Too much going on and too much rattling around in my head.  The kids started back today and both were a bit nervous.  Ainsley is at a new school again this year.  Finally in the same building as her brother.  Aidan just gets nervous as he does with anything new.  He has a concern about another boy in his class.  I told him the same thing as always.  You don't have to be best friends, just be nice and start there.  You may be surprised and end up with a new friend.  I am hoping that he actually listened.  Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with their teachers.  Both have rave reviews from other kids and adults as well.  Hoping for another great year.  As always, back to school is bitter sweet.  They make days more difficult at times, but they are sure fun to have around as well.  I am one of those weirdo parents that seems to dread the kids going back to school as much as the kids do.  I have several posts I am still trying to get to, maybe one of these days.  Have a great week all!
