Quick fashion question...

I have made an effort to wear more skirts this summer.  I actually bought 4 skirts instead of shorts and most days manage just fine.  I am just curious what the skirt wearer does in the winter?  Tights?  For my daughter, I just throw on a pair of leggings under her skirts and she looks adorable.  I don't think I could pull the look off.  I don't like to wear hose or tights which is why skirt wearing works for the spring/summer/early fall months.  I live in jeans all winter long because it is just so cold and I don't like the draft involved with skirt wearing, even long ones.  Just wondering what others do out there.  I will post more about my road trip and other goings on later in the week.  I have been spending some serious time reclaiming the house after being away, plus getting some school shopping done.  I have supplies finished and labelled and ready to go to class.  I have some jeans and shoes for everyone.  Husband is taking the kids out on Saturday so that I can do more clothing shopping on my own.  So much easier than shopping with them.  Particularly my youngest, budding fashionista has the habit of picking out the first thing she sees and falling in love...regardless of size, color, etc.  I get tired of the battle.  Yes that is cute, but not your size.  Ugh!  Anyway, we made some arrangements and he understands my need of shopping in peace away from them on occasion.  More later my friends.  Send me your responses.  Even you lurkers out there!  Thanks!

I don't mind hose or tights in the winter, and I wear them with my boots for longer skirts. If you like boots why not try the leggings under them, since no one will see them?

How is your hubby doing?

Husband is doing well. No flare ups of the vertigo. I truly think that part of his problem was stress related. The bog bad episode he had was right before his half marathon. He was really concerned about finishing. So far so good though. We do fairly well with the lower sodium diet at home. I grew up eating that way due to my fathers high blood pressure. Eating out when he travels is totally another issue. Until he can get that under control and make better choices, I think he will continue to have problems. He is making plans to see a nutritionist though. We have an alternative care health plan through his work so most of the cost of the visit would be covered. Thanks for asking Christine you are so sweet to think of him.
